Robolinux is a user friendly and intuitive operating system based on the popular and well supported Ubuntu Linux distro. Using Mate 3D, a range of visual enhancements are added to the operating system.

Robolinux is a Debian based Linux distro aimed at bringing Windows users into the fold as painlessly as possible, largely thanks to use of the Mate 3D interface, which adds a number of features to the UI. One feature of note,the "3D" part of Mate 3D, is a three dimensional representation of the desktop, which can be navigated around easily. Purely cosmetic, but a fun addition. It is based on the Debian platform, which is very well supported and stable, and sports a number of easy virtualisation options for running Windows within Robolinux, which can make life that little bit easier for users coming from Windows.
Good for Windows Users
Robolinux Mate 3D doesn't offer anything other Linux distros can't, but rather makes things that little bit more friendly and accessible for the user. Particularly if that user is coming from Windows and is new to the Linux platform.
